CEO Jonathan Throssell outlines the many attractions and activities available at the Shire of Mundaring.

Jonathan shares there is plenty to do in the Shire of Mundaring, with a wonderful lifestyle, lots of trees and lots of walk trails.
The Shire of Mundaring is about 30kms from the centre of Perth along the Great Eastern Highway and an easy short from Midland.
Jonathan says to get the best out of your experience with the Shire, take your time.
“There's plenty to see and do” he says “but it's best when you're out of your vehicle - so a be it on your bike, on your horse, or on your own two legs you'll experience the best of what Mundaring has to offer.”
The Shire of Mundaring has invested a lot in ensuring that the visitor experience is a memorable one.
“We look after a lot of the heritage trails where you can walk or take your bikes, or even ride a horse.”
“We've got the wonderful Lake Leschenaultia, a fantastic place to visit.”
“In addition to the wonderful natural attractions such as  Lake Leschenaultia, a visit to the Mundaring Weir as a must, with its lookouts and its wonderful hotels where you can grab a coffee or a beverage.”
