Shire President Pippa de Lacy shares her favourite spot in the Shire of Nungarin; the local Tennis Club.
When Shire of Nungarin President Pippa de Lacy isn’t serving on the local Council, she’s serving it up on her favourite tennis court.
Having grown up with a love for the sport, Pippa de Lacy is a firm fixture on the courts at the local Nungarin Tennis Club.
The Nungarin sporting complex is managed by the Shire, encompassing eight grass surfaced tennis courts, a netball court, a hockey field, and a large football oval.
Pippa de Lacy says the Nungarin Tennis Club has many positives for the community. “It brings generations together, children as young as three to five are able to go out and have a hit on the court and it provides a meeting place for many people” says de Lacy.
So whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, come along to Nungarin Tennis Club and enjoy a social hit.
