Hear from Shire President, Chris Lane about what it’s like to live in Three Springs.
Along with her husband, Cr Chris Lane farms in the Shire of Three Springs. She is also the Shire President.
“I joined local Council after going through other school boards and sporting groups and I just thought it was a good chance to give back to the community,” she explains.
Three Springs is an agricultural community 313km north of Perth. Although it is a rural Shire, there are many facilities available to residents, many of which the Council maintain and support.
“Three Springs Council helps our little community by providing some pretty good sporting facilities and we have an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and we also support the doctors and medical services, and the dental service.”
Cr Lane welcomes visitors to the Shire, so that they can see why residents enjoy living there so much.
