Located just a three-hour drive from Perth, the Shire is known for “beaches, extensive forests and bushland” and it’s world-famous wine. “We're a wine region - strong viticulture industry - as well as an agricultural industry,” explains Stephanie.

For those who enjoy being outdoors, the Shire of Augusta Margaret River is the perfect place. From the Cape to Cape Track to whale watching in Augusta during the winter, there is something for all ages and interests. There are many trails to be explored, and mountain bikers are welcome says Stephanie, "[We’ve a] big mountain biking community here and visitors would be welcome to bring their bikes - this is a great place to explore by bike.
