“The Shire of Waroona is special. It is absolutely beautiful. It has beautiful land, it has natural attractions, it has lots to do for all ages and it's a very welcoming, friendly and happy community.”

With forest, lakes and beaches, the Shire of Waroona is perfect for those who love being outdoors. Dean recommends heading to Drakebrook Weir if you enjoy fishing, or to Lake Navarino if you rather some faster activity, where “people come from all over the world to jet ski.”

If you are interested in natural wonders, then Lake Clifton should be on your Waroona itinerary. “We've got thrombolites there, which are some of the oldest organisms on the planet,” explains Dean.
