Take A Trip Down Memory Lane in Toodyay

Toodyay’s Memory Café is a monthly community gathering for those living with dementia.

Toodyay is a dementia-friendly town, and thanks to Alzheimer’s WA and the Shire of Toodyay Council there is a monthly community group meeting named the Forget-Me-Not Memory Café.
Local resident and Shire Community Development Officer, Claire McGowan explains the benefit of the group.
“The Memory Cafe provides a safe, accessible and nostalgic atmosphere for people living with dementia and their carers.
Taking place the second Tuesday of every month, from 10:00am, the Toodyay Forget-Me-Not Memory Café meetings are held at the Cola Café. This means that attendees can “take a look around, step back into childhood and have a look at all the fantastic Coca-Cola memorabilia”, explains Claire.
