City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn shares the Geraldton lifestyle and his passion for boxing.

Mayor of Greater Geraldton Shane Van Styn says that if you’re a sports enthusiast, Geraldton has a lot to offer. “What's really great about Geraldton is the climate and the abundance of sporting opportunities. In Geraldton, you can undertake water sports, ball sports… in fact we've got a sport for everyone” says Shane.
Boxing is Shane’s passion and when he’s not serving the local community, he spends his spare time in the gym.
Shane says that over the last few years Geraldton has transformed itself into a popular tourism destination. “It has wonderful foreshores, wonderful shopping, wonderful sporting facilities, in fact we're just a great place to visit so next time you're thinking of a holiday come up to Geraldton and take a fresh look” he says.
