Simply Beautiful in Bridgetown-Greenbushes

Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes CEO Tim Clynch shares what makes his area special.

Tim says it’s the natural beauty of the area that makes Bridgetown-Greenbushes special, along with its diverse community.
“People want to live here, it’s an attractive place, full of services but more importantly full of great people,” he says.

“How do people find us? Well it's pretty easy, we're three hours south of Perth, one hour south of Bunbury on the Southwest Highway.”

“And how to get the most out of your experience here? You certainly need to appreciate the natural beauty of the area, and that's our biggest attraction.”

“We're also famous for our cold, so come down in winter  and celebrate the cold, we like to do that - sit in front of a fire and drink wine.”

In the last 10 years the Council have invested quite significant amounts of money in infrastructure improvements, including a new library, a new swimming pool, Recreation Centre redevelopment, and a lot of parkland development.

Tim says: “Our slogan at Bridgetown-Greenbushes is  'simply beautiful', so come down here and enjoy the beauty and that's really what we're famous for:  beautiful landscapes, fantastic heritage buildings - it's just a unique experience for visitors or residents alike.”
