Natural Beauty for all to Enjoy in Nannup

Nannup Shire CEO David Taylor encourages visitors to get out and see everything the Shire has to offer.

Nannup Shire is a three hour drive south of Perth along the Forrest Highway.

“The Shire of Nannup is a very special place here in the southwest, because we have so much natural beauty and natural landscapes that everyone can enjoy: everything from mountain biking to bush walking, but then also people can be on the cafe strip on the main street of town here,” David says.

Local activities and attractions include visiting the iconic clock tower, taking a drive down Gold Gully Road or heading out to Barrabup Pool for a swim, taking a leisurely stroll along the river, or grabbing a mountain bike and heading out for a ride.

“The Shire has recently done a big upgrade along the foreshore area of the Nannup Townsite here" says David.

We've built a nice big walking trail along the Blackwood River and we hope to expand that further down the river in time to come.”
