Located in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, the Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup is 126km from Albany and is an agricultural area known for sheep farming and producing grain. The rural Shire is home to just 1,100 people including the Council.
Talking about the part the Council plays in local life, Keith said,
“Being a small community we're all very close to the community. The council and the staff do a lot of work with the community... We're engaged with the community on every level.”
