It’s all happening in Esperance - from the kangaroo on the beach to the wonderful walks and trails, there's so many things for people and families to do. Watch to find out.
Shire of Esperance President, Victoria Brown has been involved in Local Government for nearly eight years and says it’s the people that make Esperance community so special.
“We live in an amazing community, we're very isolated here in the southeast so it's a very resilient community, it's a can-do community and I think that's what I love about being here is not only the pristine environment, the beautiful beaches, it is the people”.
The Council has been involved in a number of projects to support the community, notably the $24 million foreshore project which addressed terrible erosion on the foreshore. “The foreshore project delivered this world-class piece of infrastructure that I don't think at the time any of us knew how fantastic it really would end up being - It's sensational” says Victoria.
Victoria urges travellers to visit Esperance “Come on down! This place is going off, from the kangaroo on the beach to our wonderful walks and trails, there's so many things for people and families to do. Come down and join us and have a look yourself”.
