Hosting an annual country music festival makes the Shire of Boyup Brook the perfect place to learn a musical instrument.
The Boyup Brook community hosts an annual rodeo event in October, and a country music festival every February. The Council supports these events and the locals involved, every year.
Community, Emergency and Regulation Manager for the Shire, Daly Winter is a member of the local Country Music Club and a keen country music enthusiast. Playing the guitar is just one way he can enjoy country music, all year round. “All you need is a guitar and a good country song,” he says.
