Experience Natural Attractions and Wineries in a Seaside Destination

The City of Busselton CEO Mike Archer talks about the many attractions in the City of Busselton – the famous Busselton Jetty, surf breaks, wineries and breweries in a natural and rural environment.

“We also have some very wonderful, famous Margaret River wineries located within our district. We have beautiful surf breaks, microbreweries, wineries and natural rural environment,” he said.

“Busselton is a short two and a half hours away from Perth but we are developing, at the moment, a new domestic international airport."

Mr Archer said the foreshore development is a result of collaboration between the three spheres of Government and the community.

“Once you arrive in Busselton, take the time to experience our wonderful foreshore. We have a wonderful jetty that you can walk all the way out and explore the underwater observatory at the end,” he said.

“Having arrived, there's plenty of things to do within our district. You can wander the Cape to Cape track, you can visit wineries and micro breweries or you can just simply take a stroll in Meelup Park, one of our natural regional parks.”

Busselton and Dunsborough and our district has so much to offer, Mr Nottle said.

“Hopefully, you'll enjoy it and stay. So next time you're in our part of the world, please come and visit us. Hopefully, you'll enjoy our natural attractions, our wonderful foreshore and our vibrant city.”
