Shire of Dardanup President Mick Bennett has worked in Local Government for 23 years and loves living in the fantastic region which boasts beautiful beaches, fishing, wine tourism and Ferguson Valley.
Mick Bennett is the Shire of Dardanup President and apart from working on Council, he is retired.
Mick’s been on Local Government for 23 years and originally started to help out the youth - it took him 10 years to do that initially, it's not as simple as you think when you get onto Council.
The Shire of Dardanup is closely located with four other Shires. There are beautiful beaches, estuaries for fishing, and the Ferguson Valley for wine and tourism.
When visiting the southwest region, Mick urges people to take the time to visit all the wonderful features the region has to offer: the Ferguson Valley for Gnomesville, wineries and breweries, Mick thinks it's just fantastic to live in Dardanup.
