The township of Leonora is the service centre for the mining, exploration and wellestablished pastoral industries. The town supports a population of 1500 people,with services including; two hotels, supermarket, butchers, post office,two service stations, accountant, motel, mining style accommodation camp, caravan park and various others.
Leonora is serviced by a bitumen road from Perth via Kalgoorlie. A bus service operates from Kalgoorlie servicing Leonora and other Northern Goldfields towns, once aweek. A public airline also services the Leonora townsite on weekdays.
